I have a new friend!

I have a new bestie (sorry, Sarah). Her name is Tania! No, its not me, she's my one-to-one partner. We had a nice lesson today about using be going to instead of will to talk about future plans. She brought me a peach from her garden, and then we looked at pictures of her beautiful daughters who take her shopping and buy her tiny little louis vitton bags they can't afford and wedges that they can. She is going to take me to a Russian "saloon" , where we will eat borscht and look at Russian children's books while she attempts to teach me Russian.

This is like the best story I've ever heard. A Russian friend just in time for your birthday! Can you post pictures of her wonderful-sounding children please?

ah no, I can't! because I'm useless. but she is such a wonderful lady! my course is like both a training center and a lanuage school so she comes here for classes, and stuff. now when she sees me she gives me a kiss and a hug! she's so lovely. And Russian! although she has lived here for a long time (she married a Czech guy, as she put it!) Anyway, she is rad. I will take a picture of her and try to post. I still haven't woked that out, eejit that i am.

Oh, I didn't really expect it. But I am so happy you found a kind-hearted Russian, with your name no less. Are you unable to get the pictures on the computer, or from the computer to the blog? I can try to help you if it is the latter.

¡Happy birthday Tania! And Tania two too (who I will think of as Tania Tatyana). I assume that her birthday is also today.
I'll think of you enjoying yourself in one of Prague's Russian saloons while I stock dairy and non-dairy products in the cooler of my grocery co-op while doing a make-up work shift. In honour of your birthday.
Stay Stoic.

God, are you sooo self-centered that you REFUSE to befriend anyone unless they share your name? Wow, I raised you well... j/k ketchup!
